My career as a Retirement and Pension Specialist with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network is really a continuation of, and draws upon, my previous work experiences.

After receiving my MBA, I joined Ernst & Ernst in Kansas City as a financial services consultant. En route to becoming the Partner in charge of Financial Services Consulting for Ernst & Young´s Midwest Region in Chicago, I also served in Cleveland and Minneapolis.

In 1991, I joined River Forest Bancorp as President of Aetna Bank, one of the subsidiary banks. As we merged and consolidated banks into what is now Corus Bank, I became Chief Operating Officer and was in charge of the Trust Department.

In 2000, Corus sold its Trust Department to Cole Taylor Bank, so I joined Cole Taylor Bank with a primary emphasis on the retirement plans business.

Late in 2002, Cole Taylor Bank exited much of the Trust Business and I moved to Northwestern Mutual as a Retirement and Pension Specialist.

My background has provided the opportunity for me to become knowledgeable in the retirement plans area. And also to understand the corporate environment, but also to relate to the needs of individual employees.

I am, by nature, a facilitator, a knowledge sharer, and a teacher, with a great deal of enthusiasm. This is ideally suited to my role with Northwestern Mutual.
